About the Atlantic World Art Fair
Welcome to the Atlantic World Art Fair. We invite you to share in the exploration of a dynamic and under-represented region of innovation. We are a group of nine galleries and curatorial agencies, with decades of investment in artistic talents and practice. We aim to elevate the conversation on the contemporary art makers in the Caribbean, the Atlantic Islands and the region’s wider diasporas.
Together we will introduce the world to some of the talented artists we are working with, build necessary cultural capital, and develop partnerships that will strengthen our collective efforts. Discover creative expressions that reflect intertwined histories, relations and cultures informed by peoples of Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe. The complexity of these thoughtful expressions will shift perceptions of the region, satisfy a range of aesthetics and raise important questions.
At the heart of the Atlantic World is the Caribbean, and yet so much more. Our artists in the Atlantic World Art Fair are nationals of, or reside in, Aruba, Azores, The Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Curaçao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Maarten, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, US Virgin Islands, and their diasporas.
From emerging to established artists, the Atlantic World Art Fair offers a catalogue of provocative artwork that will resonate with global collectors.
To develop an understanding of the contemporary art market in the region, the Atlantic World Art Fair presents an online program including studio visits, critical conversations and panel discussions. We look forward to your participation.
